Dress Code:

Key Dress Code Rules for Spanish Weddings

  • Day Weddings (Before 5 PM): Midi or knee-length cocktail dresses are the standard.
  • Accessories: Tocados (fascinators) or hats are common. Pamelas (broad-brimmed hats) are also welcome.
  • For Men: A matching suit is standard, often with a tie. While tuxedos are rare in Spain, dark suits are appropriate for the event.
  • Color Restrictions: Never wear white, as it is strictly reserved for the bride.
  • Modesty: If the ceremony is in a church, ensure shoulders are covered and avoid excessive cleavage.
  • Footwear: High heels are common, but consider bringing comfortable shoes for dancing later.

Gifts:

For us, the most important thing is sharing this day with you — to celebrate together, your presence is the greatest gift.

Our hearts are full, and our shelves are too. We’ll also have a small box for wedding cash gifts/envelopes. If you’d like, you can send us a transfer to help us start this new chapter, although you’re also welcome to bring whatever you wish.
